Island Spring is located in the Wekiva River about 0.5 miles upstream (south) of Katie's Landing or about 0.5 miles downstream (north) from the SR-46 Bridge. There is a small island in the river and the boil is about 60 feet southeast of the island. It is believed to be n the Seminole County side of the river.

Island Spring is a 3rd magnitude spring discharging from the bottom of the Wekiva River channel. The vent is reported to be 72 feet deep.


The spring is undeveloped and located in the Wekiva River. Flow measurements have been made by professional cave divers inside the cave since there is no other way to measure flow.
