Florida Conservation Coalition Announces Event June 23rd

On June 23rd Governor Bob Graham and the Florida Conservation Coalition will host a major event to call for the protection of Florida’s springs, rivers, and lakes. The event will be held at Silver River State Park, a short drive south of Silver Springs, one of our state’s most treasured natural landmarks.

The event will be a combination of education, speeches, and nature, in support of Florida's waters. The public is invited. According to the Florida Conservation Coalition, "In light of the dramatic decreases in water flow and increases in pollution being observed throughout our state the time to act is now."
