Public invited to Parks & Trails planning meeting Dec. 8th

Residents are encouraged to offer their vision for the county’s parks, recreation and trails system

EUSTIS — The Lake County Parks & Trails Division is inviting the public to a meeting to provide input on future parks, recreation and trails in Lake County. The workshop will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Eustis Community Center, 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis.

Lake County Parks & Trails is in the process of updating its comprehensive master plan, which will be used as an overall guide to the development and operation of Parks & Trails facilities offering active and passive recreation, paved trails and boat ramps over the next decade.

All residents, including those living in municipalities and unincorporated areas of the county, are invited to attend to learn about the master planning process and share their vision for the future of recreation in Lake County. Similar meetings will be scheduled for January in other areas of the county.
