Annual Open House Hike at Wolfbranch Sink Preserve, Aug. 27th

Come join the Lake County Water Authority for a hike on a “sweet” piece of property in Mount Dora. Wolfbranch Sink Preserve, a 154 acre preserve, is famous for its seasonal waterfall and active sinkhole. Because it is not open to the public on a regular basis due to its environmental sensitivity you will truly get an experience.

This unique self-guided hike will be held August 27, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The preserve is located at the dead-end of Robie Avenue, east of Highway 441 and south of State Road 46. You can visit with us at the “fall” and then hike at your leisure. Be sure to wear hiking shoes, bring some water, and a camera to record this experience. For more information, please call 352.324.6164 ex. 0. No reservations required. Sponsored by Lake County Water Authority.
