The Lake County Water Authority invites local kids ages 4 and up to participate in a FREE kids fishing clinic to be held at Hickory Point Park (27341 SR 19 Tamares, FL 32778), from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on February 11, 2023.

Teen Sportfishing Association will be running the clinic and will have casting set up. There will be opportunities to fish from the pier and witness a major bass tournament weigh-in throughout the day. There will be dip netting (please bring water shoes) as well as other environmental components.

All kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
